Summer Intensive 2013 – Week 9
In Week 10, their Lighting classes introduced product lighting and mixed lighting technique, and a great deal of open lab time for students to take advantage of. Also, more advanced flash instruction and critique. Output allowed more open lab time for them to print their final projects and other bodies of work. Edit classes involved more intricacies of Photoshop technique along with plenty of application time on their own work in the assisted labs. Photo Studies involved one-on-one mentoring sessions with their instructor plus optional macro studio labs using light tables to create unique close-up landscapes and images.
And Visual Studies concerned critiquing of the students’ Fostering Creativity assignments plus one-on-one mentoring. All of this invaluable education is helping them to formulate and execute the ideas they’ll be presenting in their final projects.
All in all, it was a full week of practical application, mentoring and critique in all parts of curriculum. Week 10 promises to be another busy one with the project deadline looming large in their headlights. Stay tuned!
