October’s Assignment – Nature Calls
With the fall weather cooling things down a bit in the Northern Hemisphere, change in the air is quickly affecting millions of deciduous trees by way of creating the annual phenomenon of autumn leaves. Colors are rapidly shifting from emerald green to the traditional fall hues of gold, crimson and orange. Nature is definitely on display this month and calling you to grab your camera and go play outside. October’s assignment, “Nature Calls,” is encouraging you to attempt to keep all things man-made out of your images and focus only on the natural. Be it flora, fauna, reptilian or mammal; any subject matter located in or about the natural world is fair game. Night skies, sunsets, insects, landscapes, pumpkins, partridges or apple trees. Let your love of nature be your guide. Let’s make October’s gallery a living, breathing tapestry for the world to see!
