Hotel and Meeting Space

Your workshop will be held at Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal, California. We suggest that you stay at this location for the dates of October 12-17, departing October 18. This workshop begins Saturday at 7 p.m. and ends Friday at noon. You will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the meeting room of the Yosemite View Lodge. Your class will meet at the nearby Carroll Clark Community Hall the rest of the week. Reservations can be made by calling the lodge directly. Be sure to indicate that you are a student of Rocky Mountain School of Photography.

Rates: Rooms have been blocked at the rate of $146 per night + tax (Mountainview room) or $174 per night + tax (Riverview room).

Cutoff Date: Be sure to make your reservations by September 12, 2013. After this date, reservations will be based on availability.

Cancellation Policy: Please check with the lodge regarding their cancellation policy.

Parking

Free parking is available at the lodge.

Air Transportation

RMSP is not responsible for cancellations due to medical or other emergencies or reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets/hotel rooms in the event of a course cancellation. Please consider the purchase of trip/travel insurance.

Travel During the Workshop

You are responsible for your own transportation during the workshop. For transportation to and from field shoots, we suggest that you carpool to get to know fellow students. Your final email will include a car share list of interested participants.

Major car rental companies are available the airport airports. Contact information and links can be found on the airport website.

Meals During the Workshop

You are responsible for your own meals during the workshop. The instructor will allow plenty of breaks in the schedule. Boxed breafast and lunches are available through the hotel for early morning and late evening shoots. Please make arrangements with the Yosemite View Lodge.
