Macro Photography - 2013
Want to be inspired or maybe increase your skills in photography? Or do you just want to have fun with lots of learning? These are just a few examples of what I have gained from attending Rocky Mountain School of Photography workshops.
I attended a Photo Weekend weekend in Boise, Idaho several years ago. Since then I have taken Basic Photography, Photography of People, Intermediate Photography and most recently Macro Photography workshops all in Missoula.
The student/teacher ratio in these workshops is so small the instructors are able to get to know you and your photography goals and skill level. Even though people’s goals are completely different they are still able to assist everyone.
With the intensity of the workshops, there is no way to not improve. The assignments helped me to focus on the task and stretch me to think outside the box. Challenging me many times throughout the workshops. Helping me to discover my potential.
What is my favorite part? It’s hard to say. There are so many things that I enjoyed. Let’s see: the instructors with their personality (keeping things light and easy), critique (what can I do better), lots of hard work that is so enjoyable, the list could go on and on.
Thank you so much for all the great instruction, assignments, critiques to help me become a better photographer. And don’t forget about all the passionate people who have become friends of a lifetime.
