Don Mammoser has been a professional nature photographer and writer for 12 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from the University of South Florida, which led to extensive field experience as a U.S. Fish and Wildlife ranger and endangered species researcher. Don’s work has been published in national magazines such as Outdoor Photographer, National Geographic Adventure, Popular Photography and Imaging, Successful Photography, Nature’s Best, Audubon, Birder’s World, Shutterbug and Ranger Rick. In 2007 Don’s first two books were published Wildflowers of Colorado: A Field Guide and The Photographer’s Guide to the Colorado Rockies. His work has also been published in numerous calendars, books, postcards and brochures. Don lives in Parker, Colorado. Don enjoys sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of photography with students of all levels.
