Course: Macro Photography: A Closer Look

No wonder I feel as though I’ve been improving. The Macro Photography class was my eighth RMSP class over the years. The instructors I’ve been fortunate enough to study under (David Marx, Tim Cooper twice, Mark Johnson, Doug Johnson three times, Tony Rizzuto and Jeremy Lurgio) are truly professionals. Skillful, knowledgeable, masters, good communicators, and fun are all descriptive terms that come to mind.

This year it was the Macro Photography workshop with Doug at the helm. Perfect mix of lectures, field shoots, studio work, computer work, critiques, and even pizza! Taking up photography has really helped me to slow down, take in everything, appreciate all of the subtleties around us, and most of all learn that I have a creative, artistic side in addition to my analytic side.

I am very fortunate to have RMSP in my backyard, and look forward to many more classes.
