Our Facilities
We often hear stories of people wanting to attend a course at RMSP in Missoula. Once they make it
to our hometown however, we never hear stories of them wanting to leave. The RMSP world headquarters,
located in the 120-year-old Higgins Building in the heart of downtown might have something to do with
that. Behind the doors of 216 N. Higgins Avenue you will find our computer labs, classrooms (including
a rock-arched room dubbed “The Quarry”), a state-of-the-art print lab and our staff offices. Our
classrooms and labs feature the latest versions of Adobe® software, quality printers and advanced
instructional tools. Our studio gear, including Profoto lights and Manfrotto accessories, is up-to-date
and pro proven.
The Rocky Mountain School of Photography gallery, Missoula’s single photography-only art gallery, serves
as our main entrance. This gallery exhibits work by RMSP staff, instructors and students. Surrounded by
coffee shops, theatres, restaurants, public parks, watering holes, mountains and rivers, we feel lucky
to be part of such a vibrant community.
