Where We Go: Making a change to a single photograph can be remarkably easy, whether you are assigning a keyword or adding your own creative touch by selectively sharpening a portion of an image. On the other hand, applying those same changes to a folder containing hundreds or thousands of images would be enough to drive any photographer crazy. Luckily, Adobe Photoshop® has the powerful ability to automate these and other processes, allowing you to perform an incredible amount of work with minimal effort. In just one week in Missoula, Montana, Tim Cooper shows you how you can incorporate many time saving skills into your own workflow.

What You Learn: The goal of this workshop is to teach you how to use the valuable time saving tools offered in Adobe Photoshop CS3. After a basic review of digital workflow, Tim introduces more complex and advanced techniques that allow you to fine tune your images. You learn to use Adobe’s new RAW converter, opening the doors for you to harness the power of the RAW file format. Using Bridge®, a stand-alone program within Photoshop, you learn how to apply actions to a large body of work. After this workshop, you are able to resize, rename, rate, label, create contact sheets, run actions and streamline everyday tasks that save you countless hours behind the computer. You also gain valuable experience creating complex masks through the use of channels, burning and dodging, quick mask, cloning, and contrast controls.

Who Should Attend: This advanced class is for experienced digital photographers who have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS3.

This workshop begins Sunday at 9 a.m. and ends Friday at 5 p.m.
