General Information

Confirmation If you register for an event on-line and your profile contains an email address, you will receive an immediate message confirming your registration. The message will also have details about the event you are attending. If you register by mail or by phone, confirmation letters will be sent by request only.
Correspondence Three weeks prior to each event, RMSP will email a welcome letter to participants. This letter highlights information such as venue location, parking and lunch ideas. If we have an email address on file, you will receive your letter electronically. If not, we will mail it to you. In the event that you do not receive a letter prior to the event, you can find the same information on our Web site under the 'details' button for your event.
Meals Participants are on their own for lunch. We will suggest convenient lunch options. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch.
Parking We strive to find convenient parking at little or no cost. There are occasions when free parking is not possible. Please know that we have done our best to keep your costs low. We will provide parking instructions in your welcome letter and notify you of any fees.
Hotel Sleeping Rooms For those of you needing sleeping rooms, we have blocked a limited number of rooms for Friday and Saturday nights at each location at a special conference rate. See the 'details' button under the event you plan to attend for more information on rates and cutoff dates. Make sure to indicate that you are with Rocky Mountain School of Photography when making your reservation.
What to Bring We will provide you with note-taking materials when you check in. (Keep in mind that it is often quite dark in the rooms during lectures.) Hand-held audio recorders are perfectly acceptable. The only occasion for which you might want to bring your camera would be if you choose to take Photography Basics in session one, but it is not necessary.

Critique Session – Sunday's critique session is an opportunity for you to have your work critiqued by professionals. Our instructors will comment on your images and offer tips and suggestions that may help you get the photo that you were shooting for. If you choose to participate in the critique session, you may bring up to two of your images. Time and the number in attendance will dictate how many images will be critiqued. Any images should be digital copies submitted in large JPEG format, ideally five to ten megabytes (we will not be able to accept prints or slides). You will be asked to submit your images at the registration table on Saturday afternoon. If you submit a CD or other storage device please label it with your name and be sure to pick it up before you leave. Please be aware that RMSP is not responsible for lost or damaged images. |
