Rocky Mountain School of Photography: Instructor Show
June 1 - 29 2007
Having started Rocky Mountain School of Photography in 1988, a professional and technical photography school located in Missoula, Montana, Neil and Jeanne Chaput opened Gallery Saintonge as a natural extension of their beloved medium in 2002. The school (often abbreviated as RMSP) was collaborating with nationally and internationally renowned photography instructors, and producing students who were going onto professional careers in photography. Originally, the gallery was a way to exhibit the work of these people in addition to giving the school greater exposure.
As a separate business, the gallery went on to establish its own unique character, independent of RMSP, exhibiting a broad range of photographic media.
With this exhibit, we bring Gallery Saintonge back to its roots. Experts in the field of photography, dedicated and passionate professionals, we celebrate their work as artists and contributions as educators.
